5 out of 5 stars Great for starters   March 4, 2010

With twin grandchildren we bought the Red and the Pink. It took about two minutes to remove from the box and lift/lock the handle in place. The twin front wheels are definitely a plus for balance issues. The kids were whizzing around the family room in no time. We can't wait to try them in the park once the snow melts in the Washington DC area.

1 out of 5 stars Don't get it if your child has ever used a scooter before   February 27, 2010
Mama Knows Best (Toronto, ON)
My 6 year old daughter has a 3 wheeled scooter that has 2 wheels in the back and one in the front. Very safe, very easy to maneuver. My 2 year old would use it too and loved it. I thought getting him this scooter would be a great idea for Valentines Day because it was red and looked really stable and safe. Well, he HATED it. You can barely turn the front wheels, you can't to around corners and the handles are high. After a week of him using it a total of 10 minutes, we brought it back. We're going to go with a 3 wheeled scooter that matches his sister's. I wouldn't recommend this for any child that is used to easy maneuvering of a scooter for they will get frustrated and hate it. It's perfect for kids who are just learning to use a scooter, but I have a feeling they will get bored after a while and want to move up. I'd start with a different scooter instead so they can use it longer. If my 2 year old can use the 2 wheels in the back, one in the front, I'm sure any kid can and I'd invest in one of those instead.

5 out of 5 stars Great learning scooter   February 7, 2010

My two year old son always wants to do what his six year old brother does...to include getting on the scooter. This was a great scooter for my 2 yr old to learn on. As soon as he got on it, he was able to scoot away. The wide wheel-base and durable construction gave him the confidence he needed to be able to learn how to use it and scoot with ease. If you are looking for a great "scooter with training wheels" (so to speak), this is a great and inexpensive buy!

5 out of 5 stars Great scooter   January 31, 2010

My 3 yr. old got this for Christmas b/c my 6 yr. old had a razor scooter. The 6 yr. old loved it so much she spent her own money and bought her one! It's just the right height for the younger ones, and the wide base is so stable. Highly recommend!

3 out of 5 stars Cute scooter but wait to buy   January 18, 2010
P. Staley (Chicago, IL)
Bought for son when he was 2 but probably would have waited to buy a more flexible one when he was three. It does not turn well at all.
