 Looks nice, feels kind of cheap January 7, 2010

When I first opened the package and took the pump out, I immediately noticed how light it felt.
I used it right away and my first thought was that maybe it's too light. It feels kind of cheap.
It worked great for my mountain bike (about 40psi) and I think it would last a lifetime if only using it for mountain bikes.
But when I used it for my road bike, which only requires 105psi, I really had to push at the bottom of the stroke once it got up around 90psi..
I know some tires have an even higher psi requirement, so I really question how long this would last for those types of psi's.
I plan to get another floor pump to keep in my vehicle, and I think I will try a metal one, since I do have a road bike too.
But for mountain bikes only, I think this is a good pump. I like the love handle design, I like the adjustable pointer on the gauge, I like that the gauge is raised off the ground so it's easier to see.

The plastic barrel is a little wobbly at high pressure, but the pumps works well. I wish the feet were a little bigger, but they don't bother me too much. Gauge is easy to read. I like my Bontrager Charger pump better (discontinued I think), for a similar price.

I needed a bike pump that wasn't too expensive and this one right here sure fits the bill. Upon receiving, the quality seems to be very sturdy. I went out and started pumping air into my road bike. My tire has a max pressure rate of 125, I got up to 90 psi with hardly any effort. Any pressure after that you might use your muscles just a little. It also came with an attachment for pumping balls like basketball, football, etc.
